چکیده
New equations for circles of constant noise measure in the source reflection coefficient plane are presented, and these used to derive closed-form expressions minimum ( $M_{\text {min}}$ ) associated termination notation="LaTeX">$\Gamma _{\text {om}}$ a single-stage microwave transistor amplifier. The new equation replaces an incorrect that was previously published by one authors. validity has been verified numerical calculation, simulation, comparison with results obtained other authors using different methodologies.

A Concurrent Dual-Band Low Noise Amplifier for GNSS Receivers
In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...
متن کاملA Modified Noise Analysis of a Common Source ̶ Common Gate Low Noise Transconductance Amplifier for Sub-micron Technologies
This paper is based on analysis of a common source - common gate low noise transconductance amplifier (CS-CG LNTA). Conventional noise analyses equations are modified by considering to the low output impedance of the sub-micron transistors and also, parasitic gate-source capacitance. The calculated equations are more accurate than calculated equations in other works. Also, analyses show that th...
متن کاملJosephson junction microwave amplifier in self-organized noise compression mode
The fundamental noise limit of a phase-preserving amplifier at frequency [Formula: see text] is the standard quantum limit [Formula: see text]. In the microwave range, the best candidates have been amplifiers based on superconducting quantum interference devices (reaching the noise temperature [Formula: see text] at 700 MHz), and non-degenerate parametric amplifiers (reaching noise levels close...
متن کاملTransistor Oscillator and Amplifier Grids
In this paper, we review recent developments in quasi-optical power combining. In particular, we examine planar periodic grids and their use as quasi-optical active components. A variely of grids used for the generation and amplification of electromagnetic radiation have been investigated. Although quasi-optical techniques are applicable to a large variery of solid-state devices, special attent...
